At Sinocox.eu, we have the ability to make custom changes to alternators to let them fit perfectly. For example, old AVK alternators or this Caterpillar 1250 kVA alternator have raised base plates. The most common alternators do not have raised base plates anymore; only bigger models have them. For a customer, we made a special housing with raised base plates to refit their Caterpillar SR4 on their existing frame.

In this case, the Caterpillar alternator had 1250kVA prime power at 400V/50Hz. But if you need larger or smaller capacities, we can make custom alternator housing for you, too.

Also, if you need a special shield, for example, to be able to work with engines like a Cummins kta50, where you need a beveled shield, Sinocox has a solution for this. The front shield of the SMF450 Range shield is beveled to have more space for engine parts that run over the front of the alternator.
